The crazy train never ends...

Jorja on "Cruze". He was such a lovely horse and I got to lead them on a 45 min. hike!

 Yay momma!!
No big deal, my 5 year old rang the bell at the top of the climbing wall...!
Jorja playing floor hockey at school against the Hitmen!
Life is never dull around the Wearmouth house, that's for sure. I'd like to say up front that I am sorry for ignoring my blog. Now I've said it and most of you have probably stopped reading it anyway...alas, I have no more words of excuses or reasons. I have simply been to busy and/or to tired.
Now, here's what we've been up to. I really should do a list of what we HAVEN'T been up to as it would be shorter but oh well.
Jorja and I went on a Sparks mother/daughter camping trip with her troop! I got zero sleep but it was great for her and I to go! She LOVED it! She got to do a climbing wall, horseback riding, archery, etc. So fun!
Jorja finished off her ski season at the Wearmouth cup which is always good times for all of us.
Soccer was a huge hit for Jorja this year; by the second game she started to actually get into the game and go after the ball. She then scored her first goal, received a DQ Blizzard from dad and continued the season with three or four goals per game! That kid really got a taste for DQ...:)
She then graduated Kindergarten. I know, I know, it seems ridiculous but when they played the Grad march and she followed Mme. in, I bawled like a baby...alas, my baby girl has grown so much!
In between all of Jorja's activities the rest of us have done only a few things comparatively. I received tickets to see one of my favorite bands, The Black Keys, for Mother's Day so Scott and I enjoyed a night out. We all headed back to Saskie for Canada Day. It's our 6th annual Wall Canada Day party and we enjoyed it again...we also squeezed in G&G visits and the Parade in Swift with the Longmores! Rowen LOVED that they threw candy right to him...LOVED it. :)
Jorja passed her Swimmer 1 lessons at the outdoor pool in the neighbourhood. I was so proud!
For the first time ever, we took the kids to the Stampede! Thank goodness we met our friends the Schwartzes there...it was CRAZY. The kids loved all the rides and we enjoyed the day. So fun but holy exhausting!
As a last minute change of plans, Jorja and I headed back to Saskie for 3 nights so she could enjoy Lac Pelltier's Camp Elim with her little friends while I played with all their moms, my little friends! It was AWESOME and we got to hang out with G&G a little more and I got to hang out with almost everyone! So great....it may become an annual girls trip! :)
We were home for two days and then headed to the cabin for our holidays. We had so much company and then had a huge friend shaker all August long weekend again. Good times!
I'm back into ball, golf and trying to get back into the gym. Scott is training for two triathlons and has entered Jorja in the Kids of Steel triathlon! Go Jorja! I am taking Rowen and Jorja to the Wiggles on Saturday too...then Scott does his triathlon on Sunday a.m.
I'm sure you can see why I'm tired. Can you say, "overbooked"??!!
Anyway, my health is fine so I guess that's why I just go, go, go!
That's it for now, I"m tired. Pix to follow and enjoy your summer, we are!! xo

Hoppy Easter!

Here's a shot of Jackie, me and Mich at our annual chick weekend. So cute!
I know, I know, terrible but I love saying that at Easter! lol! It's been way to long and won't apologize but will make this short...kids are good. Enjoyed the long cold winter...oh wait, no we didn't. DID enjoy Mexico a few weeks ago! Kids had a blast and we so enjoyed going with the Schwartz' and Forbes'! That's the way to travel when you have kids I tell you...
Scott and I are well, we both are working on our waist lines, he is winning of course. Duh. But I must say I am looking real good and always get, "oh yah, I forgot you were sick, how are you feeling?". Too funny but I love hearing that. My numbers were all the same except for my platelets. They dropped down to 117. I nearly had a cow but Dr. Wonger is still super positive...what a guy. I have a new problem because of all my transfusions: iron overload. The best way to treat it? Take out a litre of blood or so every week or two! How the heck is someone with AA able to do that? Anyway, we are just watching it now, here's hoping it levels out?!
Before Mexico I enjoyed my annual chick weekend and we enjoyed lots of visitors in February! Last weekend we were up at Kananaskis Saturday night and enjoyed watching my girl in her final race: the Wearmouth Cup!! We attended the big party that night and I enjoyed having new and old friends there...I had a great time, even after giving myself a mild concussion after snowboarding. I know, IDIOT! Sure had fun though...did I mention that?!
Pictures and videos to come. Happy Easter! We are off to the lake to spend Easter with the Belbins...so fun!

Post just pour moi...

Things are pretty crazy for me but I have just recently put that into perspective. I'm back at work, back at the gym and actually enjoy those boot camp classes and already see changes in the ol' body!
I drive my kid back and forth to school and love that I can pick her up. Take them both to swimming and still get to do my own stuff too, thanks to our nanny!
I went to visit my friend Deb in the hospital Tuesday. She's my AA buddy (Aplastic anemia that is!) and were in the hospital at the same time. She left a few weeks before me and we have become quite good friends since. My numbers took FOREVER to come up; hers went up and just stayed. She never needed blood or platelets whereas I needed both every week for nearly 5 months.
But then, my miracle happened. I started to climb, and climb I did! I kicked AA's butt!
Deb, just didn't get there. She didn't get to become an AA poster child like me. Her numbers in December plummeted from 45 to 13 in a couple of weeks. She just went back in for re-treatment.
That was just the wake up call I needed to remind myself just what this disease means and to start to enjoy being healthy and have energy again! Hence, the boot camp...
I went and saw her and I swear she's never looked better! She's doing great, started her treatments the first day she was in and did them back to back. No problem. I pray this works for her. I have the utmost confidence it will, she and I had a great visit and we are both really positive.
While there she told me a guy down the hall with AA just came in for re-treatment. He was one of the men diagnosed last summer that I may have spoke about. So me being me, and me being my mother's daughter, decided that Deb and I needed to visit him.
He had just finished having a terrible reaction to the ATG but was doing better when we saw him. Deb introduced herself and said the nurses said we should meet and he was told the same. Then she introduced me and said I had AA too and that I have 126 platelets! Ha! At first I was kind of embarrassed (imagine being embarrassed cause your 126 platelets are HIGH!) but Deb told me to stop it and I should be proud and I'm what they have to look forward to.  Well, that just got me going, told him my story etc. and we left with me saying, "I'll be back AA buddy!". He smiled and Deb thanked me for going with her because she would never have done it without me.
One day, your looking down a dark tunnel and the next, your climbing out into the bright sunshine.
Awesome.

For Mardy!

 The great room.
More Great Room with vaulted ceilings
Dining room and floating staircase. Cute daughter not included.
Basement!

I have been promising Mard these pix forever of the house...here are just a few girl! xo

Ooopppsss, let that month get away from me!

Before I start getting offending emails, I realized I had better get something up here! Well, believe it or not, the Wearmouths are BUSY. I know, I know, I'm a frigging broken record but I really don't try to busy and am a lazy, just wanna read a book kind of person. Lol!
Sooo...we had all our parties; New Year's and the Hart "Better late than never" Christmas party.
Let's start with NYE shall we?! In case you've been under a rock, I don't "party" anymore. Haven't in years and YEARS. Let's just say NYE 2010 was a re-birth for me...into having too many cocktails and too many "dance-offs". Well, it's been a really stressful time for me people and I guess I needed to blow off some steam to say the least! Fun was had by all and it was a full house with crazy parents and party animal kids! Too much fun and I'm good for a very, VERY long time.
The day after my "re-birth" my family came to stay...lol! We had my dad and Sherry, Uncle Dave and Linda stay with us for a few nights which was awesome. We'd been really out of touch and it was great to reconnect with the Harts! Cousin's Trev, Kel and gorgeous Josie-Bean came for Sunday and we all had Christmas/Rowen's 2nd birthday party. Gramma Sherry made the best cake as usual. Hot Wheels!!!!! Sweet!
The kids got to hang out with the family which was great. AND Jorja didn't have to share Josie with anyone, so she was happy.
Jorja started skiing the beginning of January again. Her and Scott head to Nakiska at the crack of dawn and make it home for dinner. Scott gets a whole day of skiing, sometimes with her and sometimes with his new ski buddies. Or the "cool" parents. The one's who can keep up with him, or mostly, who want to try. :)
Jorja has lost her second bottom tooth already and was she ever excited. She asked Scott to pull it out. It came out on the 3rd try and she didn't even care really. Crazy! She also loves to "free ski" with Scott and go into the half-pipe and off of hills....so help me...
Rowen is an insane little 2 yr.old, but not as insane as my brother Jeff was, for those of you who knew Jeff. Just thought I'd make that clear, lol! He doesn't talk but gets his point across, no problem. He and I just started mom and baby swimming. Poor kid, it's his first time doing ANYTHING out of the house that is structured. Jorja was in a million things by 2! ;) He is just hitting the terrible twos but he still has his "momma's baby" days. The woman who marries him is totally going to have an overbearing mom to watch out for. Ha!
I am doing great. I saw Dr. Wonger last week and everything is the same as it was 2 months ago! Everything is in normal range, except platelets, which are just below at 126 (normal is 150-400). Yay me!!!! I've decided to get back to the gym and like everything else I do, I'm an idiot about it, and now am "enjoying" Pump It Up! Because after not doing anything for two years, I need to be doing squats with a bar bell, then push ups and lunges with free weights, whilst listening to really bad techno music.
Egad.
Anywho, I"m looking forward to heading to Saskatoon for one of my usual 24 hour trips this weekend to go to my cousin's reception. Sat. to Sunday to catch up with the Olson clan; love it!
So much more going on but I think Jorja just barfed everywhere so I must be off...oh lord...

Rowen enjoying the "shaving kit" Gramma Sherry and Grampa Hart gave him for Christmas.
Well, Jorja enjoyed it ON Rowen...
 Happy Birthday big boy!
Just like his sister, this kid loves to walk around in his ski wear!
Trevor giving the gears to Uncle Denny! Classic.
Josie getting some loving from Uncle Dennis!
I bought Rowen cleaning supplies for his birthday. The vacuum really kinda worked; he LOVED it!
Josie and Rowen were pretty confused about who was their Grampa but Rowen quickly learned to ask both of them for whatever he needed. He didn't care! lol!
 Jorjie loves her auntie Kelly!
This is to remind Scott that he should stop being a ruiner.
Self proclaimed dance-off champ. I did a tap rendition to my favorite Black Keys song. Mostly.
THIS picture is to remind ME that NYE was a one time event. Yikes!
NYE pretty ladies...I use the term "ladies" loosely!
My crazy neighbour and NYE partner in crime! She hauled that upstairs all by herself and I now call her "CRAZY". ;)
