Spring has sprung...and gone!

So excited after her first Easter egg hunt!
Scott and Jorja enjoying the last day COP was open; she LOVED her goggles!
What a cutie if I do say so myself!
Good times and good buddies in Vancouver.
Happy Easter!
Cutie and newest addition to the Wall family, Braelyn!

Well, so much for Spring. We have soooo much snow now and it has been freezing! Scott and I enjoyed a weekend away last weekend in Vancouver. It was nice to see cherry blossoms and flowers in bloom! Jorja had a super fun weekend with Gramma Wearmouth, Tom, Uncle Russ, Anne and Cashew! Wow, it takes a lot of people to watch her...ha! She got spoiled rotten and we enjoyed a quick get away with the Schwartz' and the Sheas.
We hosted Easter at our house and had 15 family members over, much to Jorja's enjoyement! She got spoiled by MANY easter bunnies and played hard with her 2 big cousins Jenna and Eric. Eric is over 20 and was so awesome to play with her and Jenna downstairs!
Jorja and I are meeting cousins Jenna, Kelsey and auntie Carol for a BP's dinner out this weekend so I'm sure she'll get a good run in, er, I mean visit in, with her cousins again!
It was so nice out the weekend before last that Jorja got to visit the Zoo twice, what a lucky kid.
We just found out that aunite Lauren and uncle David will be coming for a visit this August! Can't wait to "SEE" them...ha! They always bring See's candy for the family...isn't that great?!
Cabin season is gearing up and so we went over to our cabin neighbours for dinner and a get together....Jorja had the time of her life and so did we. Great food and sooo many kids to enjoy!
Jorja and I are off to little Benny Gallaugher's (Dan and Carrie) baby shower this week so more pix of mini Dan to come....
We are gearing up for Jorja's 3rd birthday party on May 10th; should be quite a gong show!

Nolan, Jenna, Rachel and Maeve

Wow, my annual chick weekend has come and gone for another....every year they seem to go by quicker and quicker!! With 3 pregnant ladies, a non-drinker and me, it was a very relaxing and hungry year to say the least!! Daenna hosted in Regina so I flew, which was fun in itself! We ate junk food, watched movies and had a fancy dinner out where I enjoyed a few Keg-sized wines. Hey, I was drinking for 4 other people!! :) All in all, it was soooooo nice to catch up with the girls and we are looking forward to next year which lucky Clare gets to host!
Jorja and I had a playdate with our prenatal group on Friday. We are still the only ones without baby #2 but we were both really exhausted just watching the chaos of actually having 2 kids! Ha!
Scott and I are hosting Easter this Friday and then heading out to Kananskis to hang out on Easter Sunday. We may also get in a visit with the Walls this weekend which would be great! We could meet Braelyn, their newest addition!
Also, the Civic website is complete so check it out:

Has it been 10 years?!

Mom's convocation photo from UofR - May 1997

Well, today it's been officially 10 years since my mom passed away. I just can't believe it's been that long! I always say to people it's like she just left and she left forever ago...depends on the day I guess!
As a tribute to her life and love I am putting together a small hard cover photo album with help and the idea from my friend Alison who is a professional photographer. I think it will be lovely and part of the proceeds are going to the Women's safe shelter in Swift Current where she worked for many years.
I didn't want this post to be sad but I could not let the day go by without a "shout out" to Lynnie!
I will post a picture of her later but as a tribute also to St. Paddy's, our blog is GREEN!
If you have a Labatt's Lite handy, give mom a cheers!

It's almost Spring already!

Jorja getting crumbs all over auntie Carrie's bed, lovely Benny and me, totally being a baby hog and loving it!

Introducing Bennett Cody Gallaugher! aka Mini Dan!

My sweet new purple metalic ride! Scott made this for me for Valentine's Day! Cute flowers on the hand pads and cool skull horn...I love it and my butt totally doesn't even hurt riding a bike!

Jett barked and scared her...too funny!

More modelling

Model posing...actually, she's refusing to look at the camera

Wow, great hat....and braids, wow!

Jorja "smiling nice"...hey, there's that awesome hat again...

I love this hat but it's like pulling teeth for her to wear it...

The Hart clan

Happy Birthday Anne!

Hangin' out at Anne's birthday party with Dad, Gramma Wearmouth and Tom.

Busy, busy! Life is flying by for the Wearmouths! Scott and Jett enjoyed their annual February pheasant tournie and Jorja and I joined auntie Patti for a lovely sleep over at Kananaskis Lodge. It was really great but I of course got zero sleep! But, we had such a great time, I'm treating the family to skiing at Nakiska and a sleep over at the Lodge for Easter Sunday...I'm really looking forward to it!
Last Saturday, we all went to COP to ski and snowboard. It was the first time in 4 years that I strapped on my board! After the first run I was soooo loving it again!
Yesterday we had the pleasure to meet our new "nephew", Bennett Gallaugher. Benny came 3.5 weeks early and surprised Dan and Carrie...what a great little baby he is! We fell in love immediately and Scott and Dan are already talking about his first boat ride this summer...
I had the chance for a quick trip to Regina and saw the majority of my family, which was awesome. I am heading back to Regina this weekend (I just can't get enough of Regina and really, who can?!) for my annual chick weekend. Everyone going is either nursing or prego except for Joanne and I...it'll be a quiet year to say the least!
We are hosting Easter dinner at our house on Good Friday so I can't wait to pig out and watch Jorja go nuts...Scott and I are REALLY looking forward to our adult-only weekend in Vancouver on April 19th! Yay!! We'll have a date once a year if it kills us!
We also just found out our buddies/family the Belbins are in the Junk business! They bought a 1-800-Junk franchise in Nanaimo so we have another awesome place to visit!
Jorja is completly potty trained and today is the first day she has been allowed to wear panties to the dayhome...yay! We are so proud of her although some days, diapers seemed easier....
I'll post our Easter pictures and further adventures much sooner next time!

Dad and Jorja enjoying the beach. Scott was in heaven!
Enjoying a fancy dinner out at the Resort...delicious sushi AND fried ice cream....mmmm....

So much has happenend since my last update 2 months ago! Oops!
We enjoyed Christmas in Saskie this year. We got to see a lot of family and a few friends...Jorja got to hang out with Ashlyn, so we were all happy!
We enjoyed New Year's Eve with the Gallaughers and the Joys at the Keg...the girls were all so we good and we were there for over 2 hours.
We are now potty training full on and have been for a few weeks; even last week when we went to Mexico! The only thing Jorja won't do is #2 on the potty...but she did ask to go #2 on the potty in Mexico! Yay Jorja!!

We spent last week at the Riu Vallarta just north or Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. A little different holiday than Scott and I are used to but Jorja had an absolute blast! She called our fancy resort, "her castle" and wants to head back asap. She got a few braids and made good buddies with Madison from Toronto. Our two families hung out for most of the week so it was awesome! They were so great and so was their 8 year old son Lucas who watched over Madison (2 years older than JJ) and Jorja. Scott went surfing in Salyulita and I got a massage at the spa so everyone was happy.

We are now looking forward to year end for me (yuck), my chick weekend in March and Scott's pheasant tournie in February. Scott and I are also going with a few couples to Vancouver for an adult only weekend in April! Yay!! Jorja will be super happy because Gramma Wearmouth and Tom are babysitting!

What else? I am going on a houseboat stagette in June and probably heading to Saskie with Jorja and the dog for the first week of July again...but I promise to write before then to keep you all updated better.

Time just flies in the Wearmouth house!
